EDITORIAL ILLUSTRATION
Initially painted as a reminder to myself of the ups and downs of human experience, this illustration of the vertical migration of zooplankton was printed in Mare, a marine science publication in Germany.
I’ve been lucky to work with researchers across the social sciences to illuminate core ideas from their research, often for a mixed audience of fellow researchers, practitioners, and laypeople. This usually involves reading their research, discussing what to highlight, and going back and forth to refine the illustrations. I feel fortunate to care about all this research.
